Wish you were heres – a poem

I saw you last on a Tuesday;
It was May and, oh, how it rained
As we held each other close
And kissed on the train.
Trickling windows obscured our view
But the way we felt and thought was clear.
Now all we have to show for it are a thousand
I miss yous and wish you were heres.
